Tommy Valentine is a multidisciplinary creative strategist with a decade of experience across content, production and audience growth, most notably as part of the founding team at The Companion, an award-winning digital media platform for genre storytelling.
Starting as an intern, Tommy rose quickly through the ranks to assistant producer, then producer, and eventually led the platform’s podcast division as head of acquisitions and commissioning. He launched original digital-first IP in partnership with global entertainment brands including MGM and Amazon Studios, while producing premium audio and video formats featuring actors, directors and showrunners from Hollywood to Vancouver.
At The Companion, Tommy’s remit spanned content, product and marketing, helping to grow the platform through YouTube, editorial, events and social strategy. He also led major virtual events and fan campaigns, developing formats that deepened audience connection and expanded brand partnerships.
