Kaneez Surka is a stand-up comedian, improviser, and creator who helped shape the Indian comedy scene and is now bringing her voice to a global stage. Born in South Africa and based in India for over 17 years, she created India’s first comedy panel game show and starred in multiple Netflix and Amazon Prime specials, including Ladies Up, Comedy Premium League, and Improv All Stars.

She’s performed over 1,000 stand-up comedy shows across India, the US, UK, Germany, Australia, and South Africa, and trained in improv at UCB and Magnet Theater. Now based in New York City, Kaneez is expanding her audience while continuing to deliver the sharp, heartfelt comedy she’s known for.
